The latest news about that film. : Fri Jun 25, 2010 6:44 am
The latest news about the Pinewood Studios turning my novel 'One Winter' into a film is that there is no news. They have now had a copy for over two and a half years although that is not really a long time in the film world. Similarly Mickey Rourke has not yet come to Huddersfield to watch his first live game and collect copies of my four novels (details below) to take to show his scriptwriters in California.Despite that I will be in the WH Smith store in Pontefract this coming Wednesday (June 30th) from 10 onwards signing copies of both 'One Winter' and 'One Autumn' (That is the one with Ferrybridge Power Station on the front cover).
However if you don't read novels or prefer books about rugby league history I will also have four recently published other books with me: Best In The Northern Union (1910 Lions Tour), The Indomitables (1946 Lions Tour), Snuff Out The Moon (history of floodlit rugby) and We'll Support You Evermore (little stories from the fans on why they love the game).
