IMO we should allow justice to take it's course rather than jump on the word of one side involved.

Innocent until proven guilty and I hope this explanation of him having a prior engagement this weekend proves to be true and he is back refereeing in Superleague soon.

I do wonder though if the RFL are ok with their officials being out drinking the night before games though.

Everyone needs to keep their comments within the context of what's been reported in the media otherwise the thread will be binned and action taken against offending user accounts.

Thought it was reported in the press he was drunk, meaning drinking beer that he obviously couldn't take.

I dont care who it was or what his name was, if a person male or female put an old lady in hospital with a broken hip broken/dislocated shoulder....imo they are an utter disgrace.

Agreed. I was just making the point given the sensitive nature of the situation, and the fact that it is currently nothing more than an allegation.

Edit - on further advice, this thread is now locked on grounds of sub-judice whilst the situation is under investigation.
