No nose-bleeds for this team.... : Sun Mar 06, 2011 10:45 pm
Three in a row...and more to come ? Quite possibly. The WCC-caused cancellation of the trip to Wigan was more than timely and it has opened up the possibility of a very impressive start to the season.
Looking at the fixtures I think there is a decent chance - injuries permitting - of the Tigers can remain unbeaten until Easter Monday. Certainly on home soil.
The second-half display today was very professional, far too much for Hull KR, and the youngsters are growing in confidence.
Holmes and Milner looked good, Clark brilliantly scored the first of what will be many tries for the club and with a bit more steadiness it could have been a greater victory.
And to have the likes of Steve Snitch, Ryan Hudson, Nick Fozzard, Willie Isa and Richard Owen on the sidelines underlines the strength in depth.
The run-in to Easter Monday is:-
Catalans (H)
Bradford (a)
Crusaders (H)
Hull (a)
Salford (H)
Harlequins (a)
Wakefield (H)
then Saints (a) on Easter Monday followed by Leeds at home.
