We all know now that Widnes have been granted a license for superleague but reading this Halifax wouldn't be an option even if RFL are looking to add another team.
But the reigning Co-operative Championship champions will get a second chance when the final make up of the competition is announced in July after being told they do meet the criteria for membership of the top flight. http://www.halifaxcourier.co.uk/news/lo ... _1_3239592 Surely they cannot demote a second superleague team on this basis. |
