Sure, a good pack buys you time, space, possession and yards....all the things that we want in a game. However, if the pack is simply out muscled, we can't just surrender, we need another game plan.
When our pack can't provide the backs with a platform, players like Rangi need to come in from a deeper position. This depth giving them the extra split second to take better aim with positional kicks, to run onto the ball with pace etc etc. All things that we didn't do.
Otherwise teams are going to batter us around the park 'week in week out', and we'll be on here again debating our defence and saying how the opposition were much stronger than us.......Guess what Wigan are going to do to us on Sunday?? We need a plan B, or the outcome will be the same!!!
