Congratulations to both teams on winning franchices for the next three seasons so would it be great if the banter between the fans continued in a sporting way and do away with the childish banter thats been posted by both sets of fans in the past good luck to both teams in the future.

No chance. I was so looking forward to going to stand amoung the weeds at Belle View and giving the Wakey unclean nothing but grief and laughing at them for a couple of hours as they prepare for Barrow and Batley and now the RFL have taken away my fun.

Never mind though in 12 months times we'll hear that Wakey have been replaced by Fax cos they'll be the mire again cos "saviour" Glover has run out of cash and run off with his tail between his legs.

I'm glad Wakey survived, but there is something in me that was looking forward to them being relegated, and their fans being too concerned with travel arrangements to Barrow to bother derailing every thread on here with a stadium argument.

As it stands, three more years of tedious stadia talk. I wish both clubs could get them built so that we can stop banging on about them...

I for one will never forget the way the Wakey fans reacted when we were relegated. Both at BV and on the forums they took every opportunity to rub it in and they meant every word they chanted and posted. For me they are a club that has survived for too long on empty promises and don't deserve yet another chance. Don't kid yourselves that they all of a sudden like us, they don't. Feel free if some of you want to have a "love in" with them but it's not for me thanks.

I still think for most Wakey fans Cas are the team we "love to hate" - congrats on licence, your right about the stadium banter though, its getting real old now.

Completely agree with you.

It won't be long before we will have the Wakefield detectives telling us everything about our finances, our planning applications and time scales on new stadia, and that they are the new millionaires of S.L and will sign our best players & juniors.

A spell in the lower leagues would have made most of them more humble, because for every decent Wakey fan on here (like Snowie & Big Al) there are plenty of pillocks who derail topic with pettyness
