How do things work at your local Springfield stadium?
Is it better or worse than Headingley?
Its a bit different over here, someone has marked out a baseball pitch where the Rugby should be played.
However, there is no metal strips laid on the terracing, so no cold feet.
You can actually hear the announcer, and the cheer leaders, well what can you say on a forum, without getting a locked thread, or worst.
Stewards are very friendly, no "Jobs worth" staff members, our membership passes work, and if we loss them we pay $1 for a replacement. not £15 as you do over their.
Our "southstand" is not falling apart, but we do miss our spiral staircase, its just not the same without it. It always used to get in the way of the action, oh happy days.
Our referees keep to them self, so we have no data protection problems. We did have a ref, dressed in Orange, would you believe who had his own show, is was called the "STEVE CRUSTY SHOW", but that lasted one week.
We hope to have a new ref called "Billy Whizz" coming over from Aussie Land soon to take charge of the odd game. I think he used to play over in England for the Pie Eaters but I may have got the wrong man. D'oh
Hope that helps DAMO
