Leeds asked him to come back 2 or 3 weeks ago and he said he didnt feel mentally or physically ready. Maybe now he feels a bit more confident. I suspect with Lui out this week and Leeming certain to play in the halves Leeds have asked again.

Maybe they were a bit more insistent - if he does play I imagine it will be off the bench in relatively short spells.

He seemed non-committal about playing still in today’s interview. Maybe they just need some more bodies in the spine for training, and York have no further need for him.

Leeming will be in the halves again this week so having dwyer start and Johnson on the bench makes sense. Just hope he's 100%committed

Shooting Star Awards nominations in YEP today - don't think I can remember a better shortlist. I know it's only a sample still but: Holroyd, Gannon, Broadbent, O'Connor is an extremely talented group.

Next year we could have Johnson, Edwards, Walters in the mix.

Honestly think we have future internationals in our youth set up, which we haven't had in numbers for a very long time. For me the critical ingredient now is coaching. Agar has done a terrific job but the club needs to decide whether he is the right man to coach this group forward. I'm not saying he isn't; but the only thing standing between the future Leeds side and winning titles will be how well we can support and develop them IMO.
