I knew he wasnt right, turns out i was right, if i knew, and most fans on this board knew, our medical team should 100% knew, thats there job...Im actually quite amazed at how carefree your attitude is towards this and player welfare in general.

Fusitua's lucky he dropped the ball straight after because he was in no condition to be reciving another heavy impact.

It was obvious he was wobbly on his feet,a sure sign all is not right and he should of been off there and then.

The lad was assessed and decision made to see how he went. If that was wrong and dangerous then I guess an internal investigation needs to happen. Has anyone at the club raised a concern?

Yes Agar specifically said he would be looking into it.
It was immediately obvious that they hadn't done a full assessment. It was right in front of us, they didn't do the stuff they'd normally do - we commented on it right away. I'd want a really serious internal investigation because I imagine there's a high chance of external sanctions following.

Agar said he'l be looking into it.

The wrong decision was made, theres errors of judgement in any walk of life or any profession, i understand that, but this was so blatantly obvious that he wasnt right, its really poor from our medical team to miss it.

Didn’t realise it was that obvious as I wasn’t at the game. If was true medical negligence then definitely needs a very serious investigation. I find it bizarre though how a team of highly trained professionals would fail to spot this, especially with the raised awareness of head injuries….?

It certainly is bizarre, but it happened.

On another issue and probably a more important point. How the hell did Leeds' medical staff and coaches deem it ok for Fusitua to play on for around 20 minutes when everyone in the stadium could see he had concussion like symptons? He was doubling up, behind play, looked unstable and couldnt hold the ball. It was clear he wasnt right yet they let him stay out there.

In times where we talk about player welfare Leeds need to fully investigate how that happened and ensure it never happens again. Players safety and well being should be the priority above everything.

Leeds should know much better after Rob and Stevie Ward. The medical staff are there to save the players from themselves. Disgusting.

My wife (with limited rugby knowledge) kept pointing out he was looking very wobbly and was amazed he was still on (we were in the NS). How the medical staff didn't see is beyond me

All players will say they are ok to continue thats their nature. Too brave for there own good sometimes. It was so obvious to anyone that Fusitua was in distress and was having some issues.

The last thing the sport needs is more Stevie Ward like injuries.

Player safety is absolutely vital and paramount.

I mentioned the medical and physio staff but would also like to point out i think the coaches shouldve had the foresight to see he wasnt right.

The game cant risk allowing players with head injuries to try and run it off. He clearly should have been assessed off the pitch.

I find it concerning he played so long after the incident with the nature of the injury and how obvious it was to everyone.

Exactly,it has been said that the initial concussion isn't the problem,it's any impact after the first than can cause the issues the game is tying to avoid.

We were right behind it. He was clearly KO'd then came round quickly thankfully. Club medical team dropped a clanger here no doubt about it (Agar has asked for an investigation from the medial team as to why he was allowed to play on). You could see he was all over the place.

Hopefully lessons learned and Fusi is ok.
