Apart from Hurrell not being shlte for us (and playing very similarly at Saints) and Sezer not being all that good at Huddersfield those are amazing insights (the sort one might expect given the source you cite tbf).

Yep just looked it up. Sezer was one of the five Man of Steel contenders at end of his first year then hardly played the next year (injured)

Still happy to say he was no good at Huddy?

Obviously you weren't paying attention to Sezer's Huddy career....he led the man of steel points ahead of every other SL player at one point in the first season.....think that was towards Xmas....Therefore I'd say that at least a few people thought he was decent

In addition if you think the way Konny is playing now bears any resemblance to his last season with us then you might want to have think about your own 'insights'

So which is it? Hurrell was in the Dream Team twice so wasn't crap like you said?

Or Sezer got some MOS points for a while so he was great like you said?

In his only full season for Huddy Sezer was in the top 5 players across ALL super League players

In Hurrel's last season for us he stank

Hope this makes sense

Got it. In assessing players only their last season counts. Except for one player where you count the first one.

Yeah far too sensible and reasoned.

I’ll send him a warning.

Great post.

Wrt Hurrell, we used him as a battering ram his entire career at Leeds, lazily lobbing him the ball on out-sets demanding he made yards while being continuously pummelled and then expecting him to still have the legs to burst through at the other end.
Only one game against Huddersfield sticks out when he made an typical blockbuster run and evaded a few to score a fantastic try which is what we should have been doing, letting him get a head of steam and running at pace at teams, instead as mentioned we used him as a blunt instrument. Yes he had cows teets for hands, was dubious in defence but I’m convinced if we used him the right way, we’dve seen more pluses than negatives in hindsight. Playing in this sts team they have the players and nous to negate a lot of his bad habits while we didn’t.
