It was my first time at Magic Weekend - what a great day out and Newcastle is such a good venue for it!

I have been critical of Walters, but he’s really, for want of a better word man’ed up. He’s running hard and looks like he will grow in confidence and start breaking the line, he then can bring back his handling skills into his game, once he starts dominating the opposition.

Good to hear Chris. I’m yet to get there. There’s been some very good games this weekend. It’s shown the sport in a good light to be fair. Shame channel 4 not shown a few.

Cracking performance by the lads btw. Didn’t expect it given the late injuries. Smith has got us going in the right direction no doubt. Thought Johnson was terrific considering late call and not in his usual position. I think RS will bring him on big time. Sutcliffe best game by a mile for several seasons. Looking like a propper player now, let’s see if he can keep it going

He is doing really well, but I can't see Smith over playing him at prop this season. Got a feeling we are all going to be gnashing our teeth when Tetevano's ban is up. He's never not been selected when available.
