Brian Mcdermott appointed to an assistant coach role at Newcastle Knights. One of the lesser teams in the NRL at the moment. Lucky to get the gig IMHO.

Under his appointment, whether you agree with him or not, I have seen the best collection of trophies after following Leeds for 50 years.

I wish him luck as well. Agree with Lurch above. I suspect he will go there for a couple of years, learn loads and come back to superleague
