It's true that Rhyse Martin agreed to join Hull KR several weeks ago before Blease and before Arthur. Rovers wanted to announce the departure of an overseas player first but it was a done deal some time ago.
The money is not a big factor he is well paid but not marquee at Leeds and the same will be true at Hull KR. Rhyse has a 2 year deal at Rovers I know Leeds wanted to keep him and I am surprised that at just 31 and still playing well if Rhinos were only prepared to offer 1 year.
If indeed Leeds were only prepared to offer 1 year whilst Rovers offered 2 then clearly Rovers wanted him more.
It's also true that Rovers have not won a major trophy for 39 years and in that time Leeds Rhinos have won....well quite a few! But with 4 games remaining in the regular season Rovers are top and maybe the wait is nearly over. Maybe.
If it isn't then the club will try again next year with an even better squad including Rhyse Martin. The club is in rude health off the pitch with most of the top local businessmen on board and the club have recently taken up the option of buying 15 acres of surrounding land having bought the stadium last year.
The club did it's sums before taking up the option of buying the 15 acres but now has plans for retail units and housing which they believe will provide a substantial income. And crowds are selling out every week (admittedly only 10k capacity) with the club needing to expand to 11k next year to accommodate demand.
Are you interested in all this I don't suppose so. But Hull Kingston Rovers are now a major player in Super League and will continue to be so for the foreseeable future. That's why players like Rhyse Martin are attracted.

A remarkable achievement coming up the table from your predicament of a few years ago. Obviously it benefits the whole of rugby league, best of luck to you all.
