Really enjoyed that today and good to see Danny Mags still looking good at half back.
I thought the Union lads were very good considering the emphasis was very much towards League rules. They moved the ball through hands probably better than we did imo. A decent turn out in bad weather all for a good cause. Let`s hope this becomes an annual event.
Special mention to Graham Steadman at the age of 62!!

I enjoyed it very much. McGuire still looked very classy. Cipriani and Twelvetrees looked good for the union lads.

Leuluai looked great too after he got that early missed tackle out of the way.

A very good do. It was good to see a few ex-players about in the stands too. I hope some of the current crop were there too.

Does anyone know if the merch for the game is available online? Wouldn't mind one of the hats, but can't seem to find them anywhere.

I think both Cipriani and Twelvetrees would have gone well in League but don`t think they would play for half the salary considering what they could earn in Union at the time.

Yup agree it was a real credit to players, organisers and those who paid to watch a great event played with good spirit
