Channel 4 To Broadcast Super League in 2022 Super League has to announced a landmark deal which will see Channel 4 broadcast Betfred Super League matches in 2022. This initial two-year partnership will see matches broadcast free-to-air for the first time in the competition's 26-year history.   Channel 4 will broadcast 10 live games each season, starting with eight-time Champions Leeds Rhinos hosting Warrington Wolves on Saturday 12 February (12:30). Good to see the game back on free to air. Great first game too. Hopefully the lunchtime kick off will get more families and away fans through the gates.

It's good to have free to air rugby league which isn't part of the challenge cup but it should be a Friday evening match because you will never get Leeds to play on a Saturday lunch time at home. You will get a bigger crowd on a Friday evening that a Saturday lunchtime. So channel 4 haven't planned this well.

Leeds are playing on Saturday lunch time at home. I would hope the ambition is to sell the game out.

would have liked it to be on fri night as you cant beat the atmosphere, plus it leaves saturday free for doing stuff.
Overall though a great result for the game. Get as many people watching as possible. Shame its only 10 games. would have loved it to be 1 a week but its a good start

Interested to see who they sign up to present it now.
