Some of this has to be taken as sour grapes. If you are not present to give a sample when requested then you get a failure to provide notice which can be worse than givng a positive sample!
Agar saying not rife in RL. What’s he been taking?
Jon Wells gave out some statistics when he was commenting on the accusations. Of the last 600+ players to be tested 1 positive result was returned, that was of Oliver Wilkes the player claiming drug use is rife. It certainly happens as it does in every sport but I’m certain it’s a small minority and not rife.
I think maybe 10 years ago it was more "rife" than it is today. And I certainly know of 2 well known Bradford players now with other clubs snorting a bit of the old powder but mainly for recreational purposes rather than body enhancing purposes on a trip to York races in the day. Coke I feel has been around players for a long time.

Yeah . Performance enhancing rare, recreational undoubtedly more common…..
It’s not as widespread as it is in 15 year old Russian Ice skaters. That’s a shocking case BTW, and whilst I wouldn’t hold the girl responsible, she shouldn’t have been able to compete IMO. Her support team have badly let her down and must be heavily punished.
I don’t believe that performance enhancing drugs are widespread in pro RL, I’m less certain about recreational drugs however.
