If you look closely towards the upper right of the screen when the fight kicks off you will seen O`neill knock another Widness player out, I have always thought it was his brother.
2nd dirtyest game I have seen Leeds be involved in after the Auckland game !!!!!

The dirty Widnes so and so, - I remember being crammed into the SouthStand that afternoon, what was the attendance that day ??

You tube isn't working on this computer but.....

Are you thinking of the CC - QF from the previous season? The attendance at the Moriarty send off game was 14,071.

Has to be one of the most incident packed matches seen at Headingley. In addition to the sickening broken jaw suffered hy Hugh Waddell there was the Roy Powell swallowing his tongue incident.

And in those days, 14K was a massive crowd for a Leeds game

Am I right in thinking that Moriarty got 8 matches for his cowardly assault?

That week at the disciplinary, Moriarty and Shane Cooper both got 8 matches and Paul Grayson picked up 6, all for head shots.

Fletcher: Course, he sees 'imself as an authority on curry, he does, on account of where he was stationed in the army.
Rudge: Where? India?
Fletcher: No, Bradford.

Now they were a dirty bunch of Bar Stewards if I've ever seen any.

Only Mike of the O'Neil brothers played in that game.

I think you've got me confused with Gok Wang there so I'll just say yes. We got a second helping of the delightful Aucklanders at Headingley when they fought a Chairman XIII select and it was 2nd helping for fight fans everywhere.

It's not how much talent you've got, it's what you do with it that counts.
