I was screaming at the ref when he didn't check offside, I was then annoyed at Sky for not showing the right angle. When they finally did, I had to eat my humble pie. Clearly onside, just bloody quick

I think I'm right in thinking that he can't go back to a previous tackle to check for offside. Rightly so too.

I also agree, that while a beautifully run line, the first Watmough try was marginally forward, but one of those margins that you ignore when it is your side who benefits.

Ah thats the one. Thats why I was so frustrated. I [iknew[/i it was offside so was annoyed that we tackled then let them score as he couldn't go to the screen. they were always going to score from that break the covering tackle only delayed the inevitable.

One thing that everyone has failed to mention (surprise surprise) is the referee was in a superb position to make the call on that. There's plenty willing to bag poor refereeing but his position and decision and a decision that would've taken a while with the aid of video was spot on.

He looked a long way in front in real time, so it just shows what a great decision it was to allow play to continue.
