Agree. He had some more than decent games for Leeds from the wing. He was certainly plenty good enough for Super League, and as such is a good example of the talent which can be unearthed.

I remember him playing for GB and having a nightmare under the high ball against the Kiwis.

When he signed for the Bulls a mate of mine predicted his shoulder would pack in within a year or two because of the way he fended. He was proven right.

Danny Kirmond (Featherstone Rovers) and Shaun Lunt (Workington Town) are very good examples for the Huddersfield Giants this season...

Kirmond IMO is probably the best of the ones from the lower leagues.

I have seen on a couple of occassions a big lad at Donny. I think Freer is his name, but uncertain. He played in the game against Sheffield at Easter. Very raw, but very big unit, who looked like he could be moulded.

he did, he had a try disallowed in the nfp grand final vs wakefield that would have at least taken the game into extra time iirc. karl is now signing on and tatting, shame for the kid. they say his brother jamie was outstanding but was a bit of a lad and never really concentrated on his rugby.
