The only time I've watched a game where it even approached the deluge on Friday was Yorkshire -v- Papua New Ginuea in the late 80's (I'm sure TVOC can provdie more details). There were huge deep puddles all over the Headingley pitch. I remember Carl Gibson hitting one. He looked like he was diving into a swimming pool. Our pitch took months to recover.

I've been at plaenty of rainy games, but Friday's was something else.

I remember Hull FC at home few seasons back but last night were worse than that i think.
