both times I've seen him play when I've made a point of watching him he's made significant errors which have handed the opposition team meaningfull advantage.

But that's just two games out of however many he's played for Cas.

Not just saying it cos im a Cas fan...but Shenton is a class player, wouldnt say he had a poor perfomance yesterday, but didn't he have a standout perfomance either. You cant blame him for picking up the ball yesterday, he was in a loose, loose situation really.
When you watch week in week out, you can see he's class.
Yes money talks, but I can't see Cas offloading one of there main players.

If I had to pick only 5 players to keep he would be high up that list

Shenton, Westerman, Chase, Sargent and Mcgoldrick.. Sherwin but can't see too many seasons left in him, theres a lot more I would keep and not sell but shenton 4 sure Is 1 of them

Shentons agent David Howes tried to arrange talks with Leeds before Shenton resigned with Cas. Leeds rejected the advance so Shenton took the only option open to him.

No that doesn't make me look silly because we all know that he had offers from other clubs.

The original quote also said at the end of last season, which was AFTER he signed his new contract.
