I wouldn't expect Matt's testimonial to get much support from our "fans". After all, despite his record at the club most of our brilliant "fans" would have been happy to ditch him for an overpaid, injury prone Aussie who, despite having had a great career had done diddly squat for Leeds RLFC.

The lack of support shown on this thread being a prime example of why our "fans" are probably the worst in the league.

Serious question as I know little about Oz rugby.
Was Buderus injory prone then or is it just the injuries he has sustained at Leeds you refer to?
The broken leg was pretty unlucky don`t you think?
I do agree that Diskin should be getting the support he deserves after 10 years at the club and we should be pulling in a 10k crowd.
However I doubt that will be anywhere near that figure which is a real shame when you consider we got nearly 9k for Wakefield.

I’ve shown my support over the years by been a season ticket holder. Then I found out people were getting into Headingley Carnegie for free its bough me to tears. I’ll just watch the good matches from now on thank you.

Headingley Carnegie now has one less fekkwitt to worry about on matchdays. Result.

I will be there , Disko deserves a decent crowd . He has served us well .
I will also be at every game home or away that circumstances and finances allow .
Disappointed with the goldmember package this time . I wanted a new scarf . Might get myself a Disko one if they issue one .
Should be attending more away games this term than last . Missed a couple of '09 away games due to having to fork out for repairs after a house fire while waiting for insurance to cough up .
Anyone organising coaches to either of the pre-season away games and got a couple of seats they need filling ??
