True but i think we are due 2/3 to go at the end of the 2011 season anyway so our transitional period is ongoing.

I doubt it tbh not with a man like Hetherington in charge, Leeds are a well run club and I doubt a change of coach will mean a massive overhaul of the playing staff.

Leeds will not let Burrow walk away without a tranfer fee. I wouldn't mind Burrow leaving just as long as GH brought in a quality scrum half to replace him. We are already have the prospect of starting the season without McGuire, if Burrow left too then Leeds would be well up shiz creak! Which with a man like GH in charge wouldn't happen!

There will be a massive overhaul of the playing staff over the next two years however IMO, and McDermott's biggest challenge is going to be managing it without a drop in results.

Over that period, Leeds are going to need to find replacements for the likes of Webb, Senior, Peacock, Leuluai, Cross, Lauitiiit and Buderus. How well that transition is handled could be the yardstick by which McDermott is measured rather than necessarily the winning of trophies.

Plannig to replace Cross before he has even played a game fills me with so much confidence. But you're bang on.

I would hope Leeds have learned their lesson in terms of providing "jobs for the boys" among the coaching staff.

We do have some replacements coming through the youth system for some of those players:
Webb --- Jones Bishop
Senior --- Watkins
Buderus --- McShane/Hood
Peacock --- Amor??
Lauatiiti --- Pitts??
With the likes of Hardaker, Ambler, Stewart, Singleton, Casey, Burgess (if he stays), Ablett, Clarkson all coming through or out of the 17.
But it will be a tough ride for him.

So we are fairly covered in the youth system.
