Agree with Arthur and Marty about Tony Currie, he would probably be 4th choice centre behind Les Dyl in his pomp for mine. Watkins would also be well in the mix at his best.
A few other shout outs for me would be Mark Laurie who made a massive impact in 83/84.
Going back further Alan Smith was a brilliant defensive winger and sound finisher, I did not see much of Ray Batten but was class, Bob Haigh was the same, very smart player like Liam Farrell. Graham Eccles was tremendous in the 70’s. Roy Powell another favourite.
