I do wonder if Leeds have asked Peter Smith to do this article?

Its certainly fanned the social media flames. Pete has had a bit of stick about it.

I will say the amount of abuse and begging towards refs by fans is pretty poor. Not sure why people go if they believe the game is fixed. The begging at Saints in the playoffs last year was beyond a joke.

i do think he has his own mind

just listed on fb a lot of refs we've never liked back to whitfield an holdsworth

poss only moore an thaler don't mind in recent times tho thaler has his ganson moments

I don't think theres any fixing or genuine bias. But what I do believe is *PC mode on* kendal isnt the best referee.

Maybe Agar felt he wasn't adhering to recent traditions, sign for the club, pick yourself up a 4 week ban early doors then play catch up for the rest of the year.

Perhaps they thought that the footage showing that it wasn’t actually a closed fist might downgrade the classification.

The increase in ban seems to me to be more about sending a message out to the clubs than this specific incident.
