Smith has spoken about a team first mentality in almost every interview he has done. He's even reluctant to pick out players who stood out to him in post-game pressers because he doesn't appear to want to hype any individuals.
Dwyer is the ultimate individual, which is why he gets so many tries from dummy half. Follows his instincts in attack ignoring other players, and poor distribution. I think it's just a huge clash of styles an philosophies.
Tbf to Brad, he seems a good bloke, and has worked hard for the team. Agar seemed to love him, and always made him run up defense to put pressure on last tackle plays. Again though, it's not how Smith seems to operate.
