I think RS doesn't necessarily think the Myler type fullback is the best for the style he wants to play going forward. He's said we play too much out the back, which was Agar's go to play (or allowing Leeming or Dwyer to scoot) and that's why Myler to FB made sense using his ability to pick the right pass when there was an overlap.
I get the impression he wants the best athlete at fullback, the way Tedesco plays, so more of a broken field runner than a play maker, which I think is what the NRL are reverting to now anyway.
