It's interesting that there's been so many different rumours going round. I can only assume that the coaching staff are being very active in the market and expressing interest in a number of players, although we might only sign a few.
From the type of players, I think it's clear Rohan is prioritising strengthening the squad rather than signing big names. As a fan, I kind of want big names, but I also don't want us to end up like Warrington!

Matthew Shaw has tweeted about Luke Hooley, saying Leeds are about to make him an offer after he impressed Rohan Smith. Guess than means at least one of Hardaker and Walker leaving.
I think we've probably just got to trust Smith to build a squad that he wants and feels he needs but on the face of it I agree.
Maybe he's looking beyond next year. Neither Myler or Hardaker are spring chickens and this lad fits the profile he's talked about agewise. Not aware that we have a young full back in the system who is ready to push through either. There is also the possiblity that putting this in the public domain might entice a player who has been dragging his heels (Hardaker for example) to commit. Like you I'm trusting in Smith to make the right calls with what is obviously a limited budget.
With the amount of Fullbacks we have it feels an odd one.
Yes Hardaker and Myler won't be around in a year or two I guess but will he be happy as 4th place cover for FB until 24/25' ish?. Even if Walker Leaves it feels like FB is well covered.
I dont mind signing for the future,its about we had an actual plan lol,but we still need a pack leader and a power house prop
