I can't understand why they simply don't cancel a meaningless friendly unless of course the financial gain is worth more than the the risk to the players and the pitch?

I was at my mum's yesterday and while we were eating cheesecake my nephew mentioned that he had eaten some wonderful cheesecake on Christmas day . Guess what . It was white chocolate and Baileys .

It must be a revenue decision, but how much money would they realistically lose if management did call it off?

We got slated by many people last season due to the state of the Pitch let’s hope it’s not a resemblance of Bridlington Beach come April time...

just a couple of points to raise here.

1) The Festive Challenge game is a contractually bound game so the decision to reschedule was a prerequisite and not a revenue based decision.

2) Bridlington Beach is a pebble beach and not sand.

Leeds have immediately halved their wages bill over the festive season for matchday staff by holding both games on the same day.

They can also get equipment on loan from Premier Rugby to ensure the game goes ahead that otherwise wouldn't have been available.

In addition, it's bad enough the rugger buggers ruining the playing surface at this time of year without us adding to it.
