Yes agree with that although I would have kept him on against Forest as he seemed to be getting the better of the fullback.
At least 3 new signings or if we could swap our two loanees in Harrison and Baker that would help.
We need to get Brown and Bamford on the park along with Cooper allowing Philipps to move back to mid field.
Of the youngsters Clarke, Shackleton and Halme have done better than I expected.
If we can beat Derby and Norwich and get at least a point against Stoke then we are back in business.
Anything less and I would be worried.

Halme should have been partnering Jansson since the Sheff Utd game for me as he looked solid enough and has height which we lack.

We need to sign a couple for sure but no need to panic yet. If you had been offered 20 games for promotion sitting 2 points clear at the top in January i guess most would have taken that in august. Hopefully the rest the bulk of the squad have had will have done some good, fridays game is huge.

This is going to be a very interesting window IMO. Baker could be going back to Chelsea due to not having a chance, we’ve already lost Saiz and Blackman, then Shaunessy, Coyle and OConnor out on loan. We’ve got to bring a few in surely, especially with injuries we’ve had.

Hernandez out injured now along with Douglas. Baker gone back. Do well to get a draw Friday.

That`s the problem with a small squad also add Phillips missing too.
I see some of the top 6 clubs already strengthening.
Sheff Utd made a good signing this week.
Maybe play Halme, Cooper and Pontus as a back 3 with Ayling and Shackleton filling in the midfield alongside Forshaw, Alioski and Harrison. Roofe and Roberts up front.
