I’d be getting him in now if at all possible. We look very short of any quality after few injuries…. Give them Thompson, Donaldson + cash. Pay half their wage for rest of season!
I hope people watch Tapau play before assuming he'll be a solution. He looked average most of last year and looks like an undersized prop nowadays - the odd big hit but the physicality just isn't there any more. We need to look for size - regardless of NRL or SL. I can see why he'd appeal to Agar as he's fast becoming a 'middle'.....

The reason we don't offload is that no-one is there backing up. Maguire was the master - we don't have anyone like that anymore. Prior often looks to offload, but there's never anyone there. I think he's given up bothering.

The only one I see supporting for the offload is Myler.... when he's not injured Ofcourse.
Sadly it’s become clear that the pack is paper thin. We loose one young prop (who’s always injured anyway) and we are on our knee’s. Them you look at the backline. Centre play is killing our edges. Hookers. I honestly can’t comment more than the word abysmal. I actually think our halves are ok, but need consistent Ball. It’s all crumbling very fast…..!
