It wasn’t that bad, just looked like 2 teams that were rusty.

I did however think people are over estimating HullKR, they did well last year in a disrupted season but i think they’ll struggle this year.

Hard to take anything from hkr v pies. Not far removed from preseason standard.

As for our season, there's been a lot of positive talk coming out of the camp. It's now down to the players and coach to show they can back it up.

Have to calm expectations with it being first game and a bit rusty, however Saints didn't show any signs of not having timing or communication break downs
I expect wire to improve through the season but hope it doesn't start till next week

I expect us to win and impress today, a loss won’t be the end of the world, but a bad performance/loss and Agar will he under pressure straight away, no excuses this year.

Bentley can have no complaints, we've seen worse in years gone by, the rules now are clear.

The game should maybe had been stopped though, as Myler's injury was interfering with play
