All speculation on what he is getting in SL.
But if he is going to add something significant to the team then why not pay him that amount.
Wigan did.
I personally think it is a lot of money but sometimes you have to pay the going rate to get the right person.
We should have plenty of cash to throw around considering the players that have left us these past few years.

i agree but an average joe feeder club p,layer who was not all that when he player over here is not worth big money.

I never claimed to know his wages which is why I i said reported, and anyway his actual wages are irrelevant to the point i was making, I asked would you have been happy for a player like Greenwood to be one of if not the top earner at the club and you said yes.

I rate Greenwood and would have liked him to sign for us, at all costs? No.

no problem. I would have him in an instant. even at that price. I'm guessing galloway would have been on big money.

That money is not close to the highest paid.

That said, I actually agree with you, that if that figure is true, he isn’t worth that.
