has it ever been in the back of your mind that you could end up having the best stadium in the championship, I would love to see how the media would handed something like this after the stadium standards being pushed.

The Championship will certainly have some decent grounds, Leigh Sports Village, The Shay at Halifax, Barton Stadium Salford. Headingley won’t be one of them.

A shot of the new South Stand turnstiles. These are at the corner of the car park between the bottom of the ginnel and St Michael's Lane. Like the rest of the ones at HQ they are not on the actual stand they serve.

Seats are being installed in the South Stand. At the rate they’re going, they should be all in by the weekend.

Those not in Gods own county speak up in favour of the snicket, while ginnel, is widely used in parts of Greater Manchester and parts of Yorkshire.

Some speakers use both ginnel and snicket, but for different kinds of passageway, reserving one term for a short, narrow covered passage between two houses (Ginnel) and the other for a typically longer, wider, walkway running between two streets, snicket
