I can live without Cam Smith in the team right now - he's had his opportunities and never really looked like taking them, despite putting in a decent effort in some games. Oledski probably deserves more game time after a bit of a rest, as does McLelland in the right circumstances.
I'm more worried by Agar's tactical naivety against Saints, for all the praise he's been getting in the media. The tactics were appalling. If we'd tried to play a more controlled and direct game we would have gifted Saints far less possession and position and would have stood a chance of coming away with the two points.
It's hard to say. In the first half I thought our second phase was killing them and we looked the better side for spells.
The problem is we don't quite have the quality across the park to maintain that style, we've been making errors all year and some resurfaced.
We had a good crack at them I thought. Where I would agree is that we got a bit lazy in the tough stuff at times.
We tried to play positive at them but the cracks showed a bit against quality opposition.
Have to say whatever Holbrook got into them at half time clearly worked.
