I believe we could replace the above plus Briscoe with two good signings a fast back like Field plus a good mobile back rower. Then it’s up to the kids to put down a marker. If they are up to it fantastic if they don’t cut the mustard then we go light for a season.

The essential thing is to start 2022 in as good a place financially as possible!!

I suppose the only attraction would be a longer contract as the Eels are offering 1 year.

Lets wait and see what happens. Think there is a lot of hysteria at the moment. I suspect the players that end up leaving are the players that would have left anyway pre-Covid.

GH did say a few week back the current squad could be kept together so presume he means the current spending level on wages can be kept and both Agar and Sir Kev have said we have potential targets in mind. I think if they ask for a big transfer signing they would be turned down at the moment but players will go and players will come in to replace and some good kids will be given a chance also hopefully.
