Don't know if Gubb is any good or not, but he's a front rower not a back rower. Unless he's going to replace Galloway (and then we have Peteru who's almost a new signing as well) then we need back rowers. Of the first team ones we have on the books, I'd only be interested in keeping Ward and Smith for the future, the rest can go as long as they can be replaced.

Sadly we have seen little of peteru but thought he was looking very useful, similar build to big jesse at cas and he may be able to add some wallop to the 2nd row if we have enough at prop. Regarding sutcliffe he put agreat ball out of the tackle to briscoe on Sunday and I can see him doing a job as a mobile back row man. Huddersfield are getting away with playing Murphy and melllor in there at moment. This team needs as much pace as it can get for next year.

Only 45 NRL games in 5 years. He seems like the kind of overseas player SL clubs shouldn't be signing

Pretty similar to Peteru really. But if he's fit and doesn't cost too much why not - maybe we could even get him just for this season with a promise of an extension if he performs? We need some grunt up front, as one of our biggest problems is being completely powder puff in defence.

I watch a fair few NRL games but do not recall seeing or hearing much about him, maybe due to only playing 45 games in 5 years!
