And Klein telling Ganson what to give when he was not allowed to at MM WAS in order was it? Like so many on here said it was at the time? Double-standards par excellence on display from one or two on here, I suggest.
And anyway - watching it on TV, the ref's calls were correct. For the offside: pedantic but correct. For the knock-on: you could see the ball end up further forward than it started, but after coming off the hand, and there was no attempt to pass. Knock on.
Same decision indeed as the pass to Pryce in the GF Bulls vs Saints a few years ago, when a ball to Pryce (who ran the try in) was deemed to have been touched by Mick Withers so was ruled a knock-on. Recall most from Leeds at the time were with the vidref on that one, so again its double-standards from some? (Incidentally, on the Withers incident, the difference was a. only the vidref saw the ball change trajectory and go forward after passing Withers and b. Mick assured me personally he never touched the ball...)
Your first try was off a clear forward pass. Even the wassock Stevo called that one. It happens. As a Bulls fan...live with it. Our second try could (and I suspect by most other vidrefs WOULD) have been pulled for the Newton incident. JJB would never have got anywhere near Jeffries, and the incident was nothing worse than a barge but even so I'm surprised it was given. It happens. As a Leeds fan...live with it. They evened out, I'd say?
Two eight-page (so far) threads criticising the decisions is the sort of thing people on here used to play hell with us over on the neo-Southstander known as RAB for doing! One or two on here are starting to look just like so many Bulls fans used to look - thinking you should be winning every game, and looking elsewhere for the excuses when another club has the damned cheek to post a win against you. IMHO, of course.
You'll still almost certainly be in the GF having won nearly all your games - you'll not likely meet a team again this season with so much to prove and so much need to win - so I really don't think its worth all this apoplexy from some over what was just a bad day a the office?
