Gildart looked horrible in the few games I saw him play for Wests. Looked lightweight and with zero positional sense.

Thought he was good against us last week. Ran very hard, was a real handful.

A few sangare observations from tonight, great for a few line busting carries and finding his front but looks a little flat footed in defence and needs work knowing how and when to come into the game. Pretty raw and confirms what I felt about him not completing our front row

Also looked knackered after 10 minutes.
Hopefully with a full pre season he will improve.

Seen him a few times this year and he does not seem to be able to play big minutes however he definitely has genuine size. If we can develop him he could potentially be good as our 4th prop playing two 15 minute spells each half. Concern is that Prior fitness levels seem to have dropped off and 15 mins per half looks his limit as well which increases the workload on Mik.

Feels like the rumour mill has quietened down a bit for now. We mostly seem to be looking at Champ players who the coaching staff can work with to improve the overall squad, but surely with the list out outgoing players, we've got a least one gun signing in our sights.

I believe Sharky was saying his source told him we would be going back in for Luke Thompson. I suspect that will happen, then we'll be bringing in young talented players from a lower level for Smith to work with on top of Sare. I like us to bring in Mulhern personally too. Thought he was very good against us for Wire. Big lad, good rotation prop and British.

And a Loiner too which might well be a factor for him - he was one of those who had to move on and never really got the chance when he was with us originally.
If he's turned down a new deal at Warrington then he has something lined up and presumably at one of the larger clubs as, even in their present state, most SL clubs are a step down on them.

Robbie was unlucky to be moved on from us at the time and looked a good prospect.
I think he would fit in nicely back at the Rhinos.

Yep, agree, he'd fit in well back at Leeds. Depends on his salary demands i suppose and what we could offer.
