I hope Hardaker goes well in the NRL. The game is a lot more structured here so his passing may well be good enough because they'll practice the same moves repeatedly. I'd say his problem with passing isn't the physical ability to pass, just that its almost always a second thought after running. what I haven't seen is any sense that Leeds have tried to work on it - at the Panthers he'll have to or will get found out and not picked.

His passing game is poor, kills so many plays, especially in the opponents 20.

I was always puzzled when people wanted him to play in the halves for obvious distribution short comings.

I think you are confusing his passing game, with the choices he makes. His passing game is most certainly not poor, but he does make wrong choices, on and off the field.

His passing game overall, by all definitions, is poor for me.

He has a window to pass when he does decide to pass windows usually closed by time he executes it.

Hopefully though S.T George get him & we take Rein so we still end up with a quality 9.

Agree with this as Rein looks a decent hooker from what I have seen of him.
It wont matter anyway as Clark is signing from Warrington in exchange for Watkins.

Segeyaro is a cracking player and is as hard as nails, He is the ideal #9 IMO

He looks to me like he needs to feel loved, he has had a very troubled upbringing and has had to endure some serious emotional turmoil along the way during his formative years

I'm sure that Gary will make sure that he is well looked after when he arrives and that the club hopes that he will fall in love with the place and ant to stay on much longer

He might want to control his tackling technique though :)

I'm going to put my neck out here and say that Segayaro will be/is the BEST hooker the Super League has EVER seen.

I have to agree with this. But in reality it's going to be 2.5 years out of a long life, if he can see it as that then maybe he will stay.
I always wonder about the validity of the homesickness excuse. These guys play short term contracts - 2-3 years and then they can go back home. It's a fraction of your life. I think it's more to do with what's going on on the field or how you fit in personally. If you rock up somewhere a w*****r without the luxury of your long time crowd of mates/beer buddies things can be difficult. Also, if you win everything one year and then find yourself in a team bottom of the league the next suddenly feeling like you want to be somewhere else is a good reason to suddenly come down with a case of "homesickness". Multiply that with a wife and kids in tow I suppose.
