I'd be OK with 5 props if most of them were solid performers with a good balance of work rate and power amongst them.

Not had that since 2015 ish. Next year a lot will rest on Prior's age and how well the new /younger lads do. Holroyd included

I like the recruitment and rumoured recruitment so far.. with the exception of olpherts, i know his stats are pretty good but i just dont see it with him, bit of a plodder imo, especially if its the rumoured 3 year contract

4 of our 6 "props" for 2023 are playing today.

We’re getting murdered down the middle, again. The second half of the season has been so much better than the first, but one incoming interchange prop will not solve this problem.

I think this game may be the straw that breaks the territory and posession theory as we don't have the punch to make up for it.

Tetavano is and always has bern Gash, Walters took his try well but is soft as s*** the rest of the time. Oledski is our best but we are just burning him out ever game.
We defo need 2 more starting props.

We need size and impact in defence, we havnt got one forward who hits hard and puts people on there booty, every tackle is a bloody fight to put them on the floor, even barry mac can spot it, so soft.

I also thought that if we are to add O/S players now, that Smith would be unearthing some unpolished diamonds from the second tier in Oz. Almost hope that (as good as he has been over the last few years) that Prior decides to go home, so we two quota spaces (with Thompson also going) to go shopping with. Couple of big heavy duty props could be the difference maker for us.
