I said he scored a good try,did i say anything else??
Was it not a decent try??
It was a try nothing more, nothing less. As I said at the time Webb could have scored it himself and there was no need to risk the pass to Gibson at all. Gibson caught it jogged the last five and put the ball down. Well done Ashley, I'm not sure anyone else at the club could have done that.

His previous form was very good at 1st team level both in the centre's when senior was rested and when he moved to wing,of course if you don't remember that far back i'm sure there are other poster's who will concur tad been 1.
I'm not so insecure in my own opinions that I need to rely on anyone elses recollections. People are free to form their own opinions no matter how tenuously based on fact. It doesn't necessarily make them right though.
Those games where he replaced the rested Senior in 2007 was the one away at Hull KR where he scored his hat-trick. Yes very good, similar to your recollection of the times Ryan Hall played second row for Leeds from the bench in 2008. That was another one off event V Bradford blown up out of all proportion.
Gibson was an average centre
with some potential who had displaced an distinctly average Toopi in 2007. He was never blessed with many physical attributes though and what little pace he had has deserted him now, probably for good.
