absolutely devastating afternoon. we had battled past Warrington in previous round with a fighting draw over at wilderspool and beat them handily in the replay so went to central park with reasonable optimism only to see the white flag waved; as good as Wigan were we were abysmal.
Possibly the worst display I have ever witnessed from a Leeds team. I couldn't watch any more after they had reached 60, it was that bad.
The 2004 game at headingley against the Bulls is on YouTube now. After some of the towelings they gave us the previous couple of seasons and the absolutely nauseating crocodile claps it was the game that showed we were the real deal. McGuire and Chris Feather in particular were outstanding, and it was the best game I'd seen at Headingley in the summer era up to that point.

They must be running out of games that was ‘premiered’ a few weeks back - vividly remember that game, that to me was when I knew we finally had a chance of winning the title, McGuire was awesome that game
Speaking of the wee man, I watched Leeds-v-Bradford at Magic Weekend 2011, the one where we win with a penalty try.
The dummy Rob sells late in that match is bought by three Bradford players, allowing him to waltz through and run half the length of the pitch to score. It's glorious.
