It wouldn't break my heart, the moral thing to do always trumps the business thing to do, often they are the same anyway.

If we are seriously giving new contracts to players like Myler, despite initially trying to get rid for last two seasons, and then originally not offered new contract, then this mantra that everyone is believing on putting the youngsters forward, is nothing more than complete bull.

Personally I’d let Myler go and bring Field in as his replacement but there’s lots going on I suppose none of us are fully aware of. The club have turned things around nicely and we’re heading in the right direction so I trust them for this to continue

Whilst I don’t think Myler will br first choice in any position, he’s decent back up in a few. I’d be surprised if a new contract was anything like his previous one, more a case of were not going to let him be without a safety net of some sort.

The kids will get plenty of chances with the games we will play later in the year.

No its definately still happening just waiting for him to recover from 2 x ACLs and indefinate concussion and theres a 5 yr deal waiting for the 38 yr old

As well as another journo linking us with Darcy Lussick. I know which I’d prefer on a short term deal.
