wow, mass hysteria and over-reaction to one loss. There are going to be more this year too, get used to it, we are a mid table side and after the recent past I'll take it. We are not going to become a top of the table side for a few years yet. People need to get realistic with expectations

Cmon Lurchy join in the meltdown dont you realise weve lost a game?? Sack the board, sack the coach, demolish the stadium and fold

I mean we was top of the league but none of that counts by the looks.

That can only happen if the performances are the same. Which if you read the post, you will see of course.......... that your just ignoring what is stright in front of your face.

That is just an embarrassing statement to make though mate. The fact we had played less games, i.e. defence, and had easier fixtures, i.e. attack seems completely lost on you. Not sure why.

Before the game I thought we were a mid table side that needed to develop a few quality younger players and buy 1/2 quality players that would allow us to compete at the top end.After the game I felt exactly the same.By just adding another ava (whose hardly world class) I think we would be noticeably better.

Unfortunately it seems like the past couple of years of bargain bin buys and squad players has come to bite us, with the exception for Martin, Ava and Gale I think we’ve definitely missed out on better players

It's been 2015 since we were a top of the table side and with the honorable exception of 2017 we'd be more accurately described as cellar dwellers. I know success in sport is cyclical, but the club has the power to determine the length of the cycles. I started watching Leeds in 1979, just as a golden era had ended. The club didn't win the cup till 1999 and the league till 2004. Many coaches were sacked, many beatings were absorbed and many false dawns occurred over that period. Wigan and Saints have had dips in terms of trophy success, but even when in the doldrums they remained a force to be reckoned with. We don't seem to be able to do that. I get that patience is required, but please god not another 20 years of it.

I honestly dont think we are a million miles away.Lets remember that it's not like super league is pact full with outstanding teams.

Agreed. But I think as I’ve posted elsewhere Covid has set our recovery back a fair bit imo. We needed to spend some cash which we were looking to do in fairness to the club. Merrins not been replaced yet. We had huge cap space according to Agar.
