With the exception of no speed, I think this is a bit of an exaggeration. We've got plenty of strength in Ava, Prior, Oledski, Ward, Smith and Martin. We’ve got pLenny of skill in Gale, Lui and McLelland. The thing we are lacking most is speed.

Whilst we're not the quickest in superleague I'm not going to lose sleep over it.if our pack and pivots do their job we have enough pace to compete.

But surely every team that concedes a break away try isn't slow because most teams will concede them at some point in a season.As agar said it's not the pace chasing back that's the trouble its the structure of our defense chasing the kick that was more concerning. Your right, we're clearly not fast, but for me we have bigger fish to fry right now.

Spot on, Donaldson is probably on less than half the wage of many first team players. He is behind Martin, Mellor, Ward, Smith and Sutcliffe in the back row. Who do people expect from our 6th choice back rower to be? A current international. If the youngster are better than him they’ll get in the team ahead of him, if not they can keep improving at Fev, Bradford or in the Reserve team.

I am not one who has a problem with Donaldson, however in answer to your question, in view of the new dual registration rules, why did we need a 6th choice stuck on the books? We could have utilised the dual reg from Fev if it came to the situation of having to use a so called 6th choice.

Also, we can only dual reg one at any time from Fev. Might be best keeping that slot in anticipation of needing cover in the backs where we seem thinnest on the ground right now.

Rearranged for Tuesday 28th April, with Salford moving to Sunday 3rd May.
