I'm not so sure. He attracts a lot of attention does Mr Bates, but nothing sticks. That to me says that he's either very clever to take things to the very edge of legal, but not beyond, or that he does break the law, but is clever enough to not get caught (and confident enough to believe he never will).

That's fine for him, but not so fine for Leeds Utd.
Whilst i'm no fan of Bates this fleet street hack has always "gone after" LUFC yet he hasn't blogged on how QPR are facing 7 charges about illegal player owership and the alleged cover up etc etc. The fact remains no "illegal" activity has been proved and as long as LUFC progress and continue to improve as a club then i'm happy tbh and then Conn can do one and ask questions elswhere.
you should read david davies' autobiography. He's a scum fan and was in charge of the fa when drug cheat rio missed his test. He had meetings at his house with lawyers from the fa and scum to see if they could get rio out the mess. A disgraceful abuse of power. Thankfully the drug cheat served his ban

That depends on whether you think he's going after LUFC, or whether you think he's going after a man who's ripping off LUFC. I think the latter, so would welcome more investigation from Conn. (He seems to devote most of his time to the Glazers, by the way, but he has blogged on QPR http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2011 ... NTCMP=SRCH)
