Leeds chasing Lewis Young from Newcastle Thunder. Young utility back is wanted by Leeds and Salford, very highly rated.

23yo fullback, 19 tries in 20 games this season according to the Total Rugby website, with 8 MOM awards. Won the League 1 young player of the year last season.
Only thing is, where would we be looking at playing him?

Very promising player Lewis Young. Theerapol Ritson too. Both got bags of pace.

Why on earth are linked with Mark Flanagan? He is not what we need, he is a poop Jon Wilkin and why have we give JJB another year? Don’t get me wrong I like JJB but its time for him to retire.

JJB if in a pay by play deal, with an understanding he won’t be first choice I wouldn’t be averse to.

Flanagan? Unless we’re using him as a stop gap for a year then can’t see why we’re in for him? Unless he can get the team money off from Jacamo.

Have there been any more whispers about us signing this lad? Seen a few clips of him and his footwork and acceleration look electric

He's definitely very quick, although he's a full back or stand off, so not sure where he'd fit in next season unless Golding goes and they give Walker less game time to give him time to develop physically.

Where a player plays in league one especially a young player is not nesercceryly where they would play in super league, how many halfs have ended up wingers, second row props, half backs hookers, see jimmy lowes, Jason Robinson, Francis Cummins. They probably see him as a winger, but having utility value is a bonus.
