| I see Mom as similar to Frawley - a bit of a "holding" signing until out young lads develop through to first grade. Neither player has been consistently good enough for Leeds this year though.
It's possible both might show up better next season after some accilimatisation and a proper pre-season under a new coach though. To be fair to Frawley big respect for the guy, gone from his own crowd chanting against him on the pitch to a string of MoMs, massively reslient.

| Trouble is Jim he only plays reasonably well for 25/30 minutes each game and it`s obvious what he`s going to do dummy and step.

Partly because our forwards are knackered after 30 minutes

| Frawley, Mom, Newman, Lisone are all front-foot players, but none have the real quality to dig in when we're not dominating.
Frawley has been pretty good in D this season I think, his play from our own half is terrible, he does offer some threat in the opposition half. Given that we play mostly in our own half his strengths are negated too often.
Then again he has been part of the problem at times with his deep kicking.

| Don’t know if anyone has watched or listened to the Box 2 podcast with Arthur the club have just posted. Thought it was quite an interesting listen. He’s clearly got a nuts work ethic, getting into work at 4.30!
From the interview, he’s missing his family a lot, and although he’s been surprised by the standard of SL, he clearly sees it as a second rate competition. Would be amazed to see him sign beyond the end of the year, meaning Blease will have his work cut out sorting our squad with a new head coach too.

| I haven't seen the podcast but listening to his pre Wigan press conference he gave the impression he could be here for next season but probably not beyond that. Based on likely job offers from the NRL. Whether Leeds would be happy with that I'm not sure.

Suppose it all depends on the quality of the other Applicants
Personally if we knew Arthur would only be here for next year If be happy with that, it gives the club more time to find his replacement

I’d take him on that basis as well. I reckon 1 preseason under Arthur will kill or cure most of this squad.
He needs a preseason to fix us to be able to play with intensity for 80 minutes
We have a lot off contract at end of 25 and will give Blease more room to manoeuvre.
He may stick at Salford but Rowley is off contract at end of 25

Agreed. A good solution for all parties.

Not ideal but I agree. Let him sort the team out in the offseason, lets get back on a positive footing, try and sign a couple of good props for starters and then this gives the club longer to get the best long term appointment in possible. We need to start seeing some progression forwards, it will certainly be mission impossible to plan for the offseason without knowing who the HC will be next year and we can't afford that to happen.

Yeah i would be pretty happy with that scenario. Whoever did take over the following season, would hopefully inherit a team heading in the right direction.

This was my take on his interview too
I'd be happy with this if the club backed his vision and also trusted him to sign his choice of players required to bring the much needed physicality back into the pack so that we can match the current top sides
