Oh well at least he was capable of helping us keep a few clean sheets while he was here. We'll have to look for another decent left back now cos don't think the left backs we have are good enough atm

I'm not sure I fully understand this logic, with the extra goals he could have scored in the two games he won't be around for, we could miss out on the play-offs, anyway

Desperately need a win tonight. Team selection should be interesting as well with no obvious candidate for right back if Hughes is not fit.

That's the flip side, yes. I suppose Grayson's thinking is he wants, as much as possible, to have a settled side for as long as possible. Going into the biggest game of the season without someone who had become a key goal scorer wouldn't be the best preperation.

Not saying I agree with that, just putting forward what I suspect the other argument to be.
